In May 2008, Perfume Expo America held its first three-day trade show at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, NY. With over 70 exhibitors and 552 attendees, the show was designed to showcase both classic and emerging niche perfume brands, in addition to select skin care and cosmetics lines. Companies represented at the show included Caron, Annick Goutal, Kenzo, Cofinluxe.This year, the show has expanded to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, for four days, from June 9-12. Workshops and conferences will add to the mix, with a list of industry speakers, including Rochelle Bloom of The Fragrance Foundation and Karen Dubin and Karen Adams of Sniffapalooza.
